石頭藉由刀鋸切割出各種角度的斜邊，這種二次加工的技術與玻璃的冷加工相仿，同是利用水輔助刀具進行切削。
在玻璃杯與石材杯墊的底部各切一角，讓人想起台灣建築的特徵，功能上既方便拿起，也能減少銳利邊緣崩角的破損率，同時利用了石頭板材的邊料。
